Multiple Sclerosis Bike Race

 
Our members participate in this 150-mile bicycle ride two ways as a fund raiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. This race attracts thousands of riders each year in July. Monaco South members have raised over $10,000 over the years as riders. Monaco South, along with the assistance of the Tamarac Optimist Club, also sets up and staffs the largest and best rest stop for this long, hot ride. Members direct traffic and we man the hydration station for dispensing ice, water, and Gatorade to very thirsty and tired cyclists. Hundreds of riders take advantage of our rest stop each year.
